Within the village of Saint-Jean-du-Bruel, you can discover Noria, la Maison de l’eau. Remarkable for itslocal heritage, its old bridges and picturesque streets, it’s not surprising to find here an old mill dating from the 18th century.

A few kilometres away, at the Musée des Traditions, you can discover the life of yesteryear in a village in the Aveyron at the end of the 18th century thanks to a reconstruction with life-size figures.
In July and August, in the heart of the villages of Nantand Saint-Jean-du-Bruel, various activities are held during the day and evening, such as craft markets, musical performances or theatre festivals. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and unforgettable.

The unmissable heritage sites in the Aveyron
A break in the Gorges de la Dourbie wouldn’t be complete withoutdiscovering the Causses and the Cévennes (listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites).
A few kilometres away… Immerse yourself into the world of the Templars and Hospitallers through the different classified and preserved villages. Culinary discoveries in the Aveyron
Gastronomyis a crucial component in the Aveyron; don’t miss out on all thelocal specialties that can be found in the many local markets in villages around the hotel.
In July and August, local farmers’ markets are the perfect way to spend the evening, every Wednesday in Montredon, on the Larzacplateau, and every Friday in the hamlet of Potensac.
Organic and homemade products are always highlighted!
You must taste the famous Aligot, accompanied by our local sausage and a good red wine.
Enjoy also the local cold meats and cheeses (‘pérails’, tomes or Bleu des Causses…) or the ‘farçous’.
Food lovers can savour local pastries such as the flaune, the fouace or the gâteau à la broche.
Finally, at the heart of a small village at the foot of the Combalou rock, through the underground maze, visit thematuring caves of the famous Roquefort cheese.
